The enlargement and the renovation of the Cantagallo Ouest service areas is part of the modernization plan of the Italian Highway Network.

The project is intended to considerably increase the parking spaces for trucks (120 additional spaces) and, for its geographical and logistical position, to create a main point to manage the emergencies of the highway traffic during the winter season.
